Description: Constable Ferguson was struck by a vehicle as he crossed the street to his patrol car. Constable Ferguson arrested a motorist on a DUI charge and placed him in the back of the patrol car. However, Constable Ferguson was unable to start the patrol car. Constable Ferguson crossed the road to ask a passerby to contact the city police on his behalf. As Constable Ferguson crossed the road to return to his car, he was struck by a passing motorist.
