Description: Peace Officer Frost was fatally shot three times in an act of retaliation by a suspect who was angry that the officer had killed his friend. Peace Officer Frost had killed a gambler a week prior while attempting to place him under arrest. Peace Officer Frost was seated in a saloon when the suspect approached and shot him at point-blank range. Peace Officer Frost died at the scene. The suspect fled to Mexico.
