Description: Trooper Farris was killed while pursuing a traffic violator on Interstate 70. The patrol car went out of control, ran off the road and rolled over. Although Trooper Farris was wearing a seat belt, the force of the rollover was so severe that he suffered critical injuries and died shortly afterwards at the hospital.
