Description: Deputy Fuller and Sheriff Large were investigating a burglary and whiskey hijacking at a farm house. The four burglary suspects returned to the residence and opened fire on both officers. Deputy Fuller was wounded fatally by shotgun blast to the head. He died two days later form his injuries. Sheriff Large was not injured.
