Description: Officer Fettig and Officer Matthew Bowens were shot and killed after making a traffic stop. Both officers were seated in their patrol vehicle and calling in the license plate number, when the suspect exited his vehicle and shot Officer Fettig twice in the head with a .40 caliber handgun. Officer Bowens called and reported officer down and attempted to assist his partner. Officer Bowens was then shot fatally nine times and died at the scene.
