Description: Deputy Fowler attempted to arrest a suspect on larceny charges. The suspect fled in his vehicle with Deputy Fowler in pursuit. The suspect's car ran out of gas after several miles. As Deputy Fowler approached the car, the suspect shot Deputy Fowler three times and escaped. Deputy Fowler died the next day.
