Description: Deputy Freedman was distributing food carts with the help of his partner at the Suffolk County House of Correction. Officer Brewington observed that Deputy Freedman was having difficulty lifting the food carts. Shortly afterwards, Deputy Freedman collapsed in the hallway. Medical personnel initiated CPR and transported Deputy Freedman to a local hospital where he died of a heart attack shortly after arrival.
