Description: Deputy Fredinburg was killed in an automobile accident as he and fellow deputies responded to an assistance call from another agency. As Deputy Fredinburg responded, with lights and emergency equipment activated, a vehicle traveling northbound crossed the center line and collided head-on with the patrol car. Deputy Fredinburg's patrol car overturned and burst into flames. Deputy Fredinburg was pronounced dead at the scene.
