Description: Deputy Sheriff Flacy was at a polling place when a car drove up and the occupants opened fire. Deputy Flacy was attempting to shield the citizens from the gunfire when he was shot and killed. Although mortally wounded, Deputy Flacy returned fire and killed his assailant.
