Description: Police Officer Fredericks sustained multiple injuries in a motorcycle crash while in pursuit of a traffic violator. Officer Fredericks swerved to avoid a vehicle that entered the intersection and collided with an oncoming car. Officer Fredericks was hospitalized and died of his injuries six days later on August 28, 1963.
