Description: Deputy Sheriff Falkenburg and Sheriff Bill Miller were shot in an exchange of gunfire as their posse attempted to serve an arrest warrant for the violation of the state game laws. The suspects were accused of illegally killing livestock. Deputy Sheriff Falkenburg was shot in the neck and died at the scene. Sheriff Miller was shot in the leg and died shortly after. Four suspects were killed.
