Description: as Deputy Feiler approached a suspicious-looking man, the man fired at the deputy without removing the pistol from his pocket. Although the bullet had struck Deputy Feiler in the abdomen, he overpowered and arrested the suspect. Deputy Feiler died 10 days later.
