Description: Officer Faatz was critically injured when his patrol vehicle collided with an ambulance. Officer Faatz and the ambulance were responding to a murder in Southeast Atlanta when the accident occurred. Officer Faatz suffered severe head injures and was transported to the Grady Memorial Hospital where he remained until his death 13 days later. Friendly action.
