Description: Officers Fitzgerald and Joseph R. Hinds were responding to a call when they were hit by a 17yr old driver who thought he could beat the police across the intersection. Officer Hinds was slightly wounded and the 20yr old passenger in the other car was killed along with Officer Fitzgerald.
