Description: Sergeant Fulton was directing traffic at the scene of a fire when he was struck by a passing motorist. Sergeant Fulton suffered multiple lacerations and died of a cerebral concussion six days later. The motorist pleaded guilty to careless driving and paid a $28.00 fine in lieu of 30 days incarceration.
