Description: Police Officer Figueroa was killed in an automobile accident while responding to a shots fired call. While responding, with emergency equipment activated, a truck turned in front of his patrol unit. The impact of the accident spun the patrol car around and into a brick wall. Officer Figueroa was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The suspect was charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault.
