Description: Chief of Police Fleming died as a result of injuries sustained eight days earlier after falling from a ladder in the evidence room. Chief Fleming was assisting with maintenance in a property storage building when he fell from a ladder and struck his head on the concrete floor. Chief Fleming was transported to a hospital where he remained until his death on November 1, 2013. Chief Fleming died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head.
