Description: Officer Foster, along with several fellow officers, responded to an emergency request concerning a mentally deranged man. The suspect had become violent when his elderly parents attempted to get him to a hospital. When officers forced the door open, Officer Foster was shot four times and died instantly. As fellow officers carried Officer Fosters body downstairs, the house exploded, killing the suspect inside.
