Description: While off-duty, Deputy Fay heard neighbors arguing. After identifying himself as a deputy sheriff, he placed a suspect under arrest for disturbing the peace. Deputy Fay let his prisoner get a hat and coat from his home. Instead he came out with a gun, firing fatal shots at Deputy Fay. The assailant was convicted of first degree murder.
