Description: Detective Fatta was shot and killed while serving a warrant on a suspect involved in a child pornography ring. The suspect, a registered sex offender, refused to allow the officers to enter his residence. When Detective Fatta and his partner entered the residence, the suspect opened fire. Detective Fatta was struck in the chest with a high powered weapon that penetrated his vest. Detective Fatta died at a local hospital.
