Description: Patrolman Fortin died in a motorcycle accident when his handlebars locked with the handlebars of another patrolman's motorcycle. They were northbound on Hannegan Road en route to the Lynden fair for traffic duty. He was injured when his machine skidded in soft gravel and he jumped clear of the entanglement.
