Description: Officer Frame was shot and killed by a man he had arrested for littering in a stream. The suspect remained in custody due to the fact that he was wanted in Virginia. In preparation for the transfer to Virginia, Officer Frame took the suspect home to get a shirt. The suspect retrieved a rifle and shot Officer Frame. The man fled to Ohio where he was apprehended. The suspect was tried in a court of law and convicted of murder.
