Description: City Marshal Florence was shot by a disgruntled employee who had just been fired by the mayor. The suspect was attempting to shoot the mayor but shot Marshal Florence by mistake instead. Marshal Florence sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to the hospital where he died. The suspect was taken into custody.
