Description: Deputies Ford and Bill Alexander responded to a call from the Oklahoma State Prison of a prison break at 10:30 am, Sunday morning. The deputies intercepted the car of the four escaped prisoners who were holding Warden Jess Dunn hostage. A gun battle ensued and Deputy Ford was shot in the head. He died two hours later at the local hospital. Warden Dunn was also shot and killed in the incident.
