Description: Deputy Sheriff Goos was shot in the neck as he attempted to question a suspect in a car parked in a pasture. Deputy Goos took the car keys and was walking back to his patrol car when the suspect pulled a gun and shot him in the neck. Deputy Goos returned fire, wounding the suspect. Deputy Goos was able to provide a description of the suspect before he died. The suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to death by electrocution.
