Description: Police Officer Garton was killed in a motorcycle crash while escorting a funeral procession of a fellow officer. Officer Garton was in full uniform and on a department motorcycle when he and another motorcade officer collided. Officer Garton was thrown from his motorcycle into oncoming traffic. Officer Garton was air lifted to a nearby hospital where he died. The second officer injured in the incident survived.
