Description: Police Officer Gamble and Officer Ronald Shaw were shot as they attempted to arrest a robbery suspect at a tavern. Officer Gamble was shot in the chest and died at the scene. Officer Shaw was shot in the leg but survived the incident. The wounded suspect was taken into custody. The suspect was convicted of murder and executed via the gas chamber.
