Description: Officer Gregg was shot and killed after a prisoner was able to gain possession of his partner's service weapon at a local hospital. The suspect was taken to the hospital to undergo medical tests when he began to struggle with the officers. The suspect shot Officer Gregg in the head and shot a second officer in chest before fleeing the scene. The second officer recovered from his injuries.
