Description: Deputy Galloway and Deputy Willard Hall were shot and killed as they attempted to serve an arrest warrant on a suspect wanted for public drunkenness. The suspect, a well known bootlegger in the area, had also assaulted a woman and her son earlier that day. Deputy Galloway and Deputy Hall entered the residence and were talking to the suspect when they were both shot by another suspect hiding behind a closed door.
