Description: Wildlife Conservation Officer Grove was shot and killed after making a traffic stop while investigating reports of nighttime shooting and poaching. In the process of handcuffing the driver, Officer Grove was shot four times by the suspect. A fellow officer arrived on the scene and administered first aid, however, Officer Grove was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect fled the scene and was captured the following morning.
