Description: Special Deputy Marshal Garrison was shot and killed in an ambush in Telfair County, Georgia. Marshal Garrison was attending a Christmas Eve ceremony at a church when two men ambushed him as he exited the building. Marshal Garrison's murder was in retaliation for a suspect's murder in a case he had worked several years earlier.
