Description: Jailer Goode was shot and killed in a jail escape by three county jail prisoners. Jailer Goode had intended to let one of the prisoners out of his cell to visit his mother. Unknown to Jailer Goode, one of the prisoners had possession of a weapon. Once the cell was opened all three prisoners fled. Jailer Goode was shot twice while attempting to stop the prisoners from escaping.
