Description: Correctional Officer Grossguth suffered a fatal heart attack in Tower 4 of the Maximum Security prison. During breakfast, Officer Grossguth and fellow officers had responded to a fight between several inmates. Officer Grossguth was knocked to the ground during the fight but helped break up the fight and secure the area. Later that day, Officer Grossguth was found unconscious on the floor of Tower 4. Staff was unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
