Description: Police Officer Galvez was shot and killed during a botched robbery attempt. Officer Galvez was in his personal vehicle in civilian clothes parked in a public parking lot when two suspects approached him. One suspect opened fire, striking Officer Galvez. The suspects then fled in a waiting vehicle. Officer Galvez was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. The suspects were apprehended the following day and charged with murder.
