Description: Sheriff Gasque died in an automobile crash when his vehicle crashed into a truck. Sheriff Gasque was attempting to pass the vehicle when the truck suddenly made a turn. Sheriff Gasque was driving to Mullins to apprehend a wanted suspect when the crash occurred. The coroner's inquest concluded that the crash was an unavoidable accident.
