Description: Deputy Sheriff Geer was shot and killed as he responded to a call of a man with a gun. Deputy Geer located the suspect and questioned him. The suspect asked if he was going to be detained and Deputy Geer responded that he would. The suspect fled and Deputy Geer deployed his Taser. The suspect fired several rounds and Deputy Geer was shot multiple times. Deputy Geer was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. The suspect was apprehended.
