Description: Police Officer Glasser was shot and killed while responding to a burglary in progress call. The male 911 caller stated his son had stolen his guns. Officer Glasser was one of six officers who arrived at the residence. The suspect was sitting inside a parked car in the driveway of the residence and opened fire on the officers as they approached the vehicle on foot. Officers returned fire and killed the suspect. Officer Glasser was shot twice during the exchange and was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his wounds the following day.
