Description: Correctional Officer Gomm was beaten to death by an inmate serving a sentence for homicide at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Stillwater. Officer Gomm was working in the industry building, which houses carpentry and welding equipment, when he was attacked with a hammer. Officer Gomm was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
