Description: Police Officer Gormley collapsed after responding to a call regarding a mentally deranged man who had set himself on fire. The suspect was on the roof of a two story building, running back and forth and shouting. The suspect then set himself on fire and jumped 20 feet into the fire department net below. The suspect ran, with Officer Gormley in pursuit. Officer Gormley captured the struggling suspect and subdued him. Officer Gormley then collapsed and was transported to the hospital where he died.
