Description: Police Officer Griego was fatally shot as he attempted to arrest an intoxicated suspect who was brandishing a gun in public and making threats. The suspect, who was a fellow officer, was arrested and taken into custody. A few days later, the suspect was removed from the jail by an angry mob and lynched.
