Description: Lieutenant Grosskopf collapsed when he arrived at the scene of a two alarm fire at an apartment building. The fire was the fifth to occur in less than a week and caused approximately $212,000 in damages. Lieutenant Grosskopf rode to the fire in an ambulance. Lieutenant Grosskopf was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
