Description: Police Officer Gaddis was shot while transporting two robbery suspects to jail. One of the suspects pulled a concealed gun and shot Officer Gaddis in the head through the protective shield of the patrol car. Officer Gaddis was transported to the hospital where he died. The suspect, who was an illegal immigrant, was convicted of first degree murder and executed by lethal injection.
