Description: Deputy Gammill was shot and killed when he and fellow officers approached a residence to serve a warrant. The suspect was wanted on allegations of child molestation and sodomy. While attempting to arrest the suspect, the suspect's stepfather stepped from the back of the residence and shot Deputy Gammill in the face. Deputy Gammill was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
