Description: Patrolman Garza was shot and killed after responding to a domestic disturbance dispute involving a man and his wife. The wife requested police assistance while she attempted to move her belongings out of the residence. While the couple were arguing in a bedroom, the male suspect spun around and shot Patrolman Garza in the head with an A-K 47 Rifle. The suspect also shot and killed his wife. The suspect was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to death by lethal injection.
