Description: Patrolman Gomez was shot and killed after responding to possible criminal activity at a local bank. Three juveniles were attempting to cash a forged check but fled when law enforcement arrived on the scene. Patrolman Gomez pursued the vehicle, which crashed into a ditch. When Patrolman Gomez approached the vehicle, he was shot several times and killed by one of the juveniles.
