Description: Trooper Griffith was killed in a vehicle crash when his patrol car was struck by an ice truck. Trooper Griffith was on routine patrol when he observed a traffic violation. He activated the emergency lights, made a u-turn and was struck broadside by a truck. His K9 partner was injured but survived. Trooper Griffith died at the scene.
