Description: Officer Gamble was killed after being stabbed by an inmate at the Oklahoma State Reformatory. Officer Gamble had come to the aid of Officer William Callaway who was being assaulted by the same suspect. Officer Gamble was stabbed in the neck and died the next day at a local hospital.
