Description: Officer Gottfried was shot in the head and chest after announcing his police presence in the midst of a bank robbery. After falling to the floor, the shooter took Gottfried's personal weapon and shot him several more times with his own gun. Officer Gottfried was brought to College Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Three suspects were arrested.
