Description: Patrolman Gallagher was shot as he and Officer Tony Cesaro searched a bank in response to a burglar alarm. The suspect was shot and wounded in an exchange of gunfire with the officers. Patrolman Gallagher was transported to the hospital where he died. The suspect was convicted of first degree murder and died in prison.
