Description: Captain Garlington drowned while investigating a report of illegal gill net fishing. After not hearing from him in several hours, the department began to search for him. His body was found four days later in the Mill Creek Reservoir in Bienville Parish. Before becoming a law enforcement officer, Captain Garlington played professional football for the Cleveland Browns.
